GPS is reinventing parking enforcement for multifamily communities in the Denver Metro area. With FREE parking enforcement and proprietary digital permitting system, we are able to regulate parking rules on the properties we service in addition to offering COURTESY PATROL to monitor what is happening and help slow crime.
WHAT IS THE FREE GPS PARKING ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM?
GPS officers place vehicle immobilization devices (boots) when a vehicle is found improperly parked on the property. All placements come with extensive reports including no less than 6 photographs of the vehicle in violation, all reports are readily accessible to all clients. We send a resident letter out to explain the program and give all residents 7-30 days to get acclimated to the new parking rules. After which time If a vehicle is in violation of the property parking rules, they are subject to immediate booting. A ticket is placed on the windshield/driver’s side window in conjunction with the boot placement on the driver's side wheel. The ticket report will indicate the vehicle's information, location on the property, boot number, parking infraction, as well as GPS contact and liability information. After contacting our dispatch number located on the ticket, the vehicle owner has two options for the boot removal process:
Each 24-hour period after the vehicle boot is placed, the fee will increase by $5, totaling $115.00 after 72 hours. If the vehicle owner has not paid the removal fee within 72 hours, the vehicle may be towed off the property at the owner’s expense. We can create synergy with your already existing towing vendor (we do have a preferred vendor) and no vehicle will be towed without property management’s authorization.
If the vehicle owner chooses to remove the boot themselves, they will be liable for any damages or loss done to GPS property, their own vehicle, as well as any injuries that may occur in the removal process.
WHAT DOES GPS PROVIDE TO THE PROPERTY?
GPS makes the process of implementing parking enforcement simple and nearly effortless for community management staff. GPS provides the properties we service with all the tools necessary to implement parking enforcement for FREE including:
● Parking Enforcement Signs to place throughout the parking areas within the community. These signs serve as a warning to visitors as well as a reminder for the residents in the community to comply with the property parking rules, or they will be subject to booting.
● GPS Parking Enforcement Resident Letters to inform all residents and their guests that we will be partnering with your community to provide parking enforcement. This letter will serve as a warning notice effective on the date of the property's choosing. The letter will clearly state that if any vehicles are found not complying with parking enforcement rules on the property, they will have a vehicle immobilization device applied to their vehicle without further warning.
● Boot Stations are provided and installed by GPS to be placed on the property, where the vehicle immobilization devices are stored when they are not applied to a vehicle.
● Vehicle Immobilization Devices are numbered and issued specifically to each property we service so they always remain in one community.
● Window decals/resident permits are provided by GPS at the property manager’s request. If your property does not currently issue parking permits to its residents, we can do it for you! Our window decal parking permits are GPS labeled and the color of the sticker will change each year to keep them up to date.
HOW DOES FREE COURTESY PATROL PAIR WITH PARKING ENFORCEMENT?
GPS is able to provide courtesy patrol and parking enforcement at zero charge to our clients due to a concise and effective system. Having a GPS officer on community grounds for parking enforcement will provide an increased security presence and likely diminish the number of illicit activities that may take place.
